Niccol’s “The Host” – Some Reviews

Andrew Niccol's Movie Posters

I’ve always been a fan of Andrew Niccol’s work, his best, I believe, being Gattaca, which he wrote and directed, and The Truman Show, for which he received a writing credit. I haven’t seen Lord of War, although that’s near the top of my queue now, and despite some hokeyness in In Time, I thought that was a great concept executed fairly well.

Now, I’ll probably go see his latest, The Host (or I’ll at least wait for the DVD), but given that it’s currently at a 12% on Rotten Tomatoes and THR just ripped it a new one, I’m not expecting much. But you never know, I guess.
